Licence renewals

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the Type B English- and Native-language FM radio programming undertakings listed below, from 1 September 2007 to 31 August 2014. These licences will be subject to the conditions specified therein as well as to the conditions set out in the appendix to this decision.

2.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with these applications.

Appendix to Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2007-139

 

Conditions of licence for the radio programming undertakings CHDH-FM Siksika, Alberta and CFGI-FM Georgina Island, Ontario

 

1. The licensee must ensure that a minimum of 35% of Category 2 musical selections broadcast each broadcast week are Canadian selections.

 

2. The licensee must adhere to the provisions of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters' Broadcast code for advertising to children, as amended from time to time and approved by the Commission.

 

3. The licensee must adhere to the guidelines on gender portrayal set out in the Canadian Association of Broadcasters' Sex-role portrayal code for television and radio programming, as amended from time to time and approved by the Commission.
