The licensee also proposes to change the authorized contours of CHMY-FM-1 Arnprior by increasing the effective radiated power from 50 watts to 1,000 watts and by decreasing the antenna height (non-directional antenna/antenna height 45.5 metres).
The authorized contours of the transmitter will be increased significantly resulting from the proposed technical changes.
The Commission notes that the increase in power would change the status CHMY-FM-1 Arnprior from an unprotected low power service to a regular Class A service.

At least 75% of these local availabilities must be made available for use by licensed Canadian programming services for the promotion of their respective services, for the promotion of the community channel, and for unpaid Canadian public service announcements. A maximum of 25% of the local availabilities may be used to provide subscribers with information regarding customer service and channel realignments, and for the promotion of discretionary programming services and packages, cable FM service, additional cable outlets and non-programming services, including Internet and telephone services.
