Dear Mr. Palmer:

Re:   Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 62

On 19 December 2006, the Commission received an application by Bell Aliant under Tariff Notice 62 (TN 62) proposing revisions to Bell Aliant's Special Facilities Tariff item D31(f) - Satellite Access to introduce a 32 Kbps ADPCM channel for satellite access between Bell Aliant's central office in Peawanuck, Ontario and Timmins, Ontario.

In view of the holiday season, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of TN 62.   The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the date of receipt of the tariff notice.

Yours sincerely,
