Dear Mr. Beauregard:

SUBJECT:   Téléphone Guèvremont Inc. - AMT 51A

On 19 October 2006 , Téléphone Guèvremont Inc. (TGI or the Company) filed Tariff Notice 51A (TN 51A) amending its application under Tariff Notice 51.   In its application, TGI asked the Commission to approve the insertion of new rates to its direct connect and interconnecting circuit rates.   The Company asked the Commission that the effective date of these tariff amendments be retroactive to 1 January 2006 .

The purpose of this letter is to inform the Company that, due to complications related to the request for retroaction, the Commission will be unable to render a decision within 45 business days of filing of TN 51A.   However, the Commission intends to dispose of the application by late February 2007.

Sincerely,

Original signed by S. Bédard
