Re: Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2006-12 - Proceeding to reassess certain aspects of the local forbearance framework established in Decision 2006-15 (Public Notice 2006-12) - Request for modification to the schedule
This is in response to a letter dated 6 October 2006 from MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream).
In its letter, MTS Allstream submitted that, due to the considerable time and resources required to participate in a number of regulatory proceedings, in particular the Price Cap public hearing, it will be unable to file its comments with regard to market share, and its final comments with regard to mobile wireless issues, by the 19 October 2006 deadline set out in Public Notice 2006-12. MTS Allstream requested an extension to the filing deadline for comments and final comments from 19 October 2006 to 27 October 2006 , to the filing deadline for reply comments from 26 October 2006 to 3 November 2006 . MTS Allstream submitted that the requested extension would not cause prejudice to any party participating in the Public Notice 2006-12 proceeding.
In the circumstances, the dates for filing comments, final comments and reply comments set out in paragraphs 23 and 24 of Public Notice 2006-12 are set out below:

All parties may file with the Commission, serving a copy on all other parties: (1) comments with regard to the market share loss issues, and (2) final comments with regard to the mobile wireless services issues, by 26 October 2006 .

All parties may file reply comments with the Commission, serving a copy on all other parties, by 2 November 2006 .

Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, not merely sent, by that date.
