Dear Ms. Garcia:

Re: Tariff Notice 1 - Competitive Local Exchange Carrier General Tariff

On 7 September 2006 , the Commission received an application by Allotel Telecommunications Inc. (Allotel), under cover of Tariff Notice 1, in which the company proposed to introduce its Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) Tariff.

Commission staff notes that Allotel's proposed CLEC tariff does not follow the CLEC Model Tariff Version 26, as found on the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) website.   Specifically, Commission staff notes that the following items should be corrected before resubmitting a new application:

•  Remove the reference to "Tariff Notice #1" on the cover page of the tariff;

•  Indicate "Proposed Tariff Page" in red font at the top of each page;

•  Indicate the issue date, the proposed effective date and the CRTC authority at the bottom of each page; and

•  Follow the format of the CLEC Model Tariff for section titles.

Consequently, this application is closed.

The Commission is open to examining a new application from the company that would address the items noted above.   The application must be filed under cover of a new tariff notice.   The company may contact Joëlle Bernier at (819) 994-0551 should it require further information.

Yours sincerely,
