TELUS Communications Company Tariff Notice 229 - Wholesale Internet Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Service

 

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Company (TCC), Tariff Notice (TN) 229, dated 24 July 2006 . TN 229 proposed a revision to TCC's Carrier Access Tariff, Item 226, Wholesale Internet ADSL Service.   MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream) submitted an intervention letter regarding TN 229, dated 23 August 2006 .

By letter dated 31 August 2006 , TCC noted that it was currently experiencing a staff shortage as a result of summer vacation, and that it would be unable to respond to the MTS Allstream intervention letter within the prescribed 10 day response period. TCC requested that the response deadline be extended to 15 September 2006.  

Commission staff considers that TCC's request for an extension to the filing deadline is reasonable. Accordingly, TCC is to file its submission in response to comments made on the record of TN 229 by 15 September 2006 serving copies on interested parties. This material should be received, and not merely sent, by that date.
