Mr. Terry Connolly Dear Mr. Connolly: Re: TELUS Communications Company Tariff Notice 230- Extension of an existing customer-specific Directory Assistance Service On 9 August 2006 , the Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Company, filed under cover of Tariff Notice 230, proposing revisions to its Special Facilities Tariff, Item 201, to extend the contract period of an existing customer-specific Directory Assistance Service and to revise certain rates for the service. Commission staff considers that the company's application raises issues with respect to the approval of rates on a retroactive basis, which require further examination. The Commission expects to render a determination on this application within 45 business days of the date it was filed.
Yours sincerely,
