LetterOttawa, 17 August 2006 File No.: 8740-N1-200609977
BY E-MAIL Dear Mr. Yeulett: Re: Northwestel Inc. Tariff Notice No. 833 Further to the company's tariff application seeking Commission approval of revisions to General Tariff Item 1503, Maintenance of IP PBX Business Equipment, to introduce new maintenance and repair rates for new PBX equipment, staff notes that an imputation test was omitted from the company's filings. Staff notes that CRTC Telecom Order 90-779 requires that an imputation test be filed with the Commission with every application for approval of tariff pages regarding new services, unless an exemption is granted by the Commission. Staff notes that an exemption will usually be provided for a new service expected to have ten or fewer subscribers and a total monthly charge to the subscriber of less than $2,000. Accordingly, the company is requested to provide all necessary costing information in support of the above referenced tariff application by 28 August, 2006 . The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the date of receipt of the tariff notice.
Yours sincerely,
Suzanne Bédard cc: Eric Bowles, CRTC (819) 953-5672 Date Modified: 2006-08-17 |
