Dear Mr. Hennessey:

RE:  Associated with Aliant Telecom Tariff Notice No. 205

The Commission received a letter from Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (Bell Aliant), dated 11 August   2006 , requesting an extension to the deadline for the filing of the imputation test associated with Tariff Notice 205 to 1 September 2006 .   Bell Aliant noted that it was unable to file its imputation test on 11 August 2006 , as requested by the Commission in its letter dated 25 July 2006 , due to staffing limitations.

Commission staff finds Bell Aliant's request for an extension to be reasonable.   Accordingly, Bell Aliant is requested to file its imputation test by no later than 1 September 2006 .

Yours sincerely,
