Mr. John Maksimow Dear Mr. Maksimow: Re: Tariff Notice 24 The Commission received an application from MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream) under cover of Tariff Notice 24 (TN 24), seeking approval to amend its Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) General Tariff. The company proposed to revise Part B, Item 201 - Compensation for Intra-Exchange Traffic, pursuant to the Commission's determination in Follow-up to Trunking arrangements between local exchange carriers , Telecom Decision CRTC 2006-35, 29 May 2006 (Decision 2006-35). Commission staff notes that as indicated in its correspondence to all CLECs dated 4 August 2006 , it has uncovered errors within the tariff pages issued by the Incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs). Commission staff requested that all CLECs await the publication of version 27 of the CLEC Model Tariff before filing amendments as required by Decision 2006-35. It will only be possible to determine whether any changes are required on MTS Allstream's application once revised tariff pages have been issued by the ILECs. As a result, the Commission will be unable to dispose of this application within 10 business days. However, it expects to render a decision within 45 days of receipt of the application. Yours truly,
Suzanne Bédard
