Dear Mr. Armstrong :

Re:  SaskTel Tariff Notice 113 - Unserved Premises improvement Tariff

On 16 June 2006 , the Commission received an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications, under cover of Tariff Notice 113 (TN 113) proposing revisions to its General Tariff, item 105.16, to extend the availability period for this tariff to 31 May 2008 .   The company requested that the Commission grant approval of the proposed tariff revisions with a proposed effective date of 1 June 2006 .

As this filing raises issues related to the approval of rates on a retroactive basis, the Commission will not be able to render an interim decision within 10 business days of receipt of the application, and expects to render a decision on this application within 45 business days of the date it was filed.

Yours sincerely,
