Ms. Teresa Griffin-Muir Dear Ms. Griffin-Muir: Re: Tariff Notice 589 - Rate schedule for Primary Exchange Service and Calling Features On 15 May 2006 , the Commission received an application from MTS Allstream Inc. under cover of Tariff Notice 589 (TN 589). As the company's application is tied to eliminating any additional amounts accruing to the deferral account, the Commission will not be able to render a decision within 10 business days of the date of receipt of TN 589. The Commission expects to render its decision within 45 business days of the date of receipt of the tariff notice. Yours sincerely, 'Original signed by S. Bédard '
