Mr. Dallas Yeulett Dear Mr. Yeulett: Subject: Part VII Application for Relief with respect to Northwestel's Internet Gateway Service The Commission received a letter from Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel), dated 18 April 2006 , requesting an extension to 31 May 2006 for the company to file its response to interrogatories posed by Commission staff on 3 April 2006 . Northwestel noted that it is unable to meet the deadline set by the Commission due to the number of interrogatories asked of the company in the Review of regulatory framework for Northwestel Inc. , Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2006-1, particularly a large number of interrogatories associated with costing information. Commission staff finds the company's request for an extension to 31 May 2006 to be reasonable. Accordingly, Northwestel is to file its response to Commission staff's interrogatories dated 3 April 2006 by 31 May 2006 serving a copy on Northern Television Systems Ltd. (WHTV) and Polarcom (collectively, the "Yukon Independent Internet Service Providers" ("YIISPs")). Northwestel may, as part of its respons e, also provide comments relating to the additional information provided in response to the questions set out in Commission staff's letter dated 24 February 2006 . The YIISPs may provide comments relating to the additional information and comments provided by Northwestel by no later than 7 June 2006 serving a copy on Northwestel.
