LetterFile No.: 8638-C12-200406282 Ottawa, 24 March 2006 To: All Telecommunications Service Providers Re: Filing of Reports Tracking Complaints Associated with Telemarketing Activities Pursuant to paragraph 118 of Telecom Decision CRTC 2004-35, Review of Telemarketing Rules, 21 May 2004, which was upheld in Telecom Decision CRTC 2004-63, Application by the Canadian Marketing Association to Stay Decision 2004-35, 28 September 2004, all telecommunications service providers are directed to file semi-annual reports summarizing telemarketing complaint statistics. The first such report was to cover the period 1 January to 30 June 2005 and was to be filed within 60 days of the end of the period. In addition, a second report is now due for the 1 July to 31 December 2005 period. If your company has filed the above-noted reports, please disregard this reminder. However, if the reports have not yet been filed, you are required to do so on or before 24 April 2006. For your convenience, the form to be completed is attached and can be returned by e-mail at procedure@crtc.gc.ca , by mail at CRTC, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0N2, or by fax at (819) 994-0218.
