Dear Mr. Yeulett :

Re: Tariff Notice 828 - Withdrawal of Manual Mobile Service

This is further to your application filed under Tariff Notice 828 (TN 828) dated 10 January 2006 in which Northwestel proposed revisions to its Mobile Telephone Service Tariff CRTC 3006, in order to remove Item 201, Manual Mobile Service (MMS) from four sites in the Northwest Territories.

Given the level of analysis required to fully assess the company's evidence, the Commission will be unable to dispose of TN 828 within 45 days of the application being filed.   However, the Commission expects to render its decision on TN 828 prior to the end of April 2006.

Yours sincerely,
