CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus items

Consensus report submitted to the CISC Steering Committee

1.

Several CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) working groups submitted consensus reports to the CISC Steering Committee (SC).

2.

On 28 June 2006, the SC approved the following reports:
 

- Business Process Working Group (BPWG) - Service Intervals, 14 June 2006 (BPRE044b and CLOGB52_009). The BPWG reached consensus on modifications to the Canadian Local Ordering Guidelines, Version 5.2, to reflect updated timeframes for the return by the incumbent local exchange companies of local service confirmations in response to competitor local service requests; and

 

- BPWG - Installation, Testing and Maintenance for unbundled loops and Standalone Number portability Guidelines, Version 5.0, 9 June 2006 (BPRE054b and ITMGV50). The BPWG reached consensus on an update to the installation, testing and maintenance guidelines to reflect the latest Commission determinations and industry practices.

The consensus reports were referred to the Commission for consideration. The reports are available through the Commission's website.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the above-noted consensus reports.
