Consensus report submitted to the CISC Steering Committee

The CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee Business Process Working Group (BPWG) submitted a consensus report to the CISC Steering Committee (SC).

On 12 May 2006 the SC approved the following report:

- Canadian Data Interchange Guidelines, 3 May 2006 (BPRE041b and CDIGv3.0). The BPWG reached consensus on a standard industry solution that allows for the electronic exchange of data files, such as for long distance service transfers, for directory listings, for local service transfers and for billing and collection, between telephone companies.

The consensus report was referred to the Commission for consideration. The report is available through the Commission's web site.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the above noted consensus report.
