Deadline to commence operations

1.

The Commission approves the application by Câblevision TRP-SDM inc. for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the new transmitters of its multipoint distribution system radiocommunication distribution undertakings serving Rivière-du-Loup, Mont-Joli, Matane and Saint-Fabien, authorized in Addition of transmitters, Decision CRTC 2001-749, 11 December 2001 (Decision 2001-749).

The Commission notes that this is the licensee's fourth request for an extension to implement its authority.

The transmitters must be operational at the earliest possible date and in any event no later than 11 December 2006. This is the final extension to be granted by the Commission with respect to the implementation of these transmitters. The authority granted in Decision 2001-749 will become null and void should the licensee fail to meet the new implementation deadline set out above.
