CBR Calgary and its transmitter CBRD-FM Red Deer - Technical change

1. The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to change the authorized contours of the transmitter CBRD-FM Red Deer, by increasing the effective radiated power from 1,560 watts to 5,100 watts and by increasing the antenna height.
2. The CBC indicated that this technical change will improve the reception quality of the CBRD-FM signal in Red Deer.
3. The Commission reminds the licensee that, pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met, and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
