CKBB-FM Sudbury - Licence renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language, low-power FM radio programming undertaking CKBB-FM Sudbury, from 1 September 2006 to 31 August 2013.

The Commission received an intervention in support of this application.

3.

The licence will be subject to the conditions set out in A licensing policy for low-power radio broadcasting, Public Notice CRTC 1993-95, 28 June 1993, as well as to the following conditions:
 
  • The licensee shall use the station solely for the purpose of broadcasting recorded announcements regarding tourist attractions, community events and special activities in Sudbury.
 
  • The licensee shall broadcast no more than six minutes of advertising material in each clock hour.
 
  • The licensee shall not broadcast musical selections, except as incidental background music.
