Deadline to commence operations

The Commission approves the applications by Pembina Valley Development Corporation for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the low-power English-language FM radio programming undertakings to provide tourist information services in Morden, Winkler and Morris, Manitoba, authorized in Low-power tourist information service, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2004-123, 19 March 2004; in Low-power tourist information service, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2004-124, 19 March 2004; and in Low-power tourist information service,Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2004-125, 19 March 2004, respectively.

The licences for these undertakings will be issued once the applicant has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operations. These undertakings must be operational at the earliest possible date and in any event no later than 19 March 2007, unless a request for an extension of time is approved by the Commission before that date. In order to ensure that such a request is processed in a timely manner, it should be submitted at least 60 days before that date.
