La Compagnie de Téléphone de St-Victor

  Reference: Tariff Notice 34

Residential and Business Primary Exchange Services

The Commission received an application by La Compagnie de Téléphone de St-Victor, (St-Victor), dated 9 March 2005, for approval of rate increases for its Residential and Business Primary Exchange Services. The Company proposed the following rate increases:
  • residential individual line service, from $21.13 to $24.98;
  • business individual line service, from $39.85 to $41.10;
  • business multi-line service, from $40.69 to $42.19; and
  • business PBX line service, from $47.11 to $48.75.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

In order to reflect the directives of Regulatory framework for the small incumbent telephone companies, Decision CRTC 2001-756, 14 December 2001, the Commission adjusted the proposed residential rate increase to allow for the current inflation rate plus the accumulated amount of inflation not taken from previous years.

The Commission approves the following rates:
  • residential individual line service:
  •  business individual line service:
  • business individual line service:
$42.19; and
  • business PBX line service :

The revisions take effect on 1 May 2005.

St-Victor is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith to reflect these changes.
