Mr. Willie Grieve Dear Mr. Grieve: Re: TCI 2004 Service Improvement Plan Tracking Report This is further to the TELUS Communications Inc.'s (TCI's) 2004 Service Improvement Plan (SIP) Tracking Report, dated 31 March 2005 , as amended on 9 May 2005 . Attached is an interrogatory relating to TCI's SIP Tracking Report . TCI is requested to file its response to this interrogatory with the Commission by 2 September 2005 . Where documents are required to be filed or served by a specific date, the documents must be actually received, not merely sent, by that date. Yours sincerely, 'Original signed by S. Bédard '
Suzanne Bédard cc: Hugh Thompson, CRTC (819) 953-6081 Attach. ATTACHMENT In the TCI 2004 SIP Tracking Report, dated 31 March 2005, Attachment A, pages 1-7, TCI proposed to draw down the following amounts from its deferral account over the period of 2003-2006 to recover its SIP costs in non-HCSAs:
a) Provide the company's view of a cost recovery plan which would entail drawing down from the company's deferral account the annual equivalent costs associated with the Phase II costs excluding the end of study (EOS) adjustment; that is, $1.74 million in 2004 and $2.08 million in 2005 and subsequent years. b) If the change noted in part a) above results in changes to the Phase II cost study, provide a revised Phase II cost study and the resulting amount to be drawn down on an annual ongoing basis, supported by detailed rationale.
