Dear Mr. Proulx:

Re: Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2005-2, Forbearance from regulation of local exchange services.

The Commission is in receipt of the interrogatories dated 20 July 2005 filed by Xit telecom Inc. on behalf of itself, Xittel telecommunications Inc. and 9141-9088 Quebec Inc. (Xit).

You are reminded that as set out in paragraph 47 of Forbearance from regulation of local exchange services CRTC Public Notice 2005-2, 28 April 2005 (Public Notice 2005-2) the parties may only address interrogatories to the telephone companies and to any party who filed comments pursuant to paragraph 43 of Public Notice 2005-2.   As such, Vonage Canada Corp. is not required to answer Xit's interrogatories.

Yours sincerely,
