LetterOttawa, 18 July 2005 Our File: 8698-C12-200506719 To: Parties to ITS Canada Application for access code 5-1-1 , Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2005-5, 9 June 2005 as amended (PN 2005-5) Dear Sir/Madam: Re: PN 2005-5, Amended procedures In a letter to the CRTC, dated 7 July 2005, Aliant Telecom Inc., Bell Canada and Saskatchewan Telecommunications (the Companies) requested modification to the procedure established in PN 2005-5 to permit interrogatories to be addressed among the interested parties, before reply comments are submitted. The Companies stated that they were unclear as to the specific services the Applicant was proposing for use with 511and as a result; there is uncertainty as to how a telecommunications service provider might most effectively provision services and facilities to support those services. The Companies proposed revisions to the schedule to allow interrogatories to be addressed amongst the parities. Staff agrees that the process should be amended to permit interrogatories. The schedule for the balance of the proceeding is as follows:
