Re: Bell Canada Tariff Notice 6878

On 16 June 2005, Commission staff notified parties that the Commission would initiate a Public Notice in order to provide parties with the opportunity to comment on the introduction of Bell Digital Voice service proposed by Bell Canada in Tariff Notices 6874 and 6874A.

Also on 16 June 2005, Bell Canada submitted Tariff Notice 6878 proposing revisions to the Bell Digital Voice service related to the provisioning of 9-1-1 service. The Commission approved TN 6878, on an interim basis, effective 30 June 2005, in Telecom Order CRTC 2005-246 dated 29 June 2005.

This is to inform parties that Tariff Notice 6878 will also be included within the scope of the Public Notice to be issued by the Commission.

Yours sincerely,
