LetterOur file: 8640-C12-200505076 Ottawa, 29 June 2005 To: Interested Parties List, Public Notice 2005-2 Re: Forbearance from regulation of local exchange services , Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2005-2, 28 April 2005 The Commission is in receipt of a letter dated 24 June, 2005 from the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC) which argued that Bell Canada's request for immediate forbearance of optional services for all incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) was outside the scope of this proceeding. Commission staff notes that it appears that PIAC has mislabelled the paragraph numbers of Bell Canada 's Submission which it requested the Commission to strike from the record of this proceeding. It appears to Commission staff that the correct paragraph numbers should be paragraph 11, the last three sentences, paragraph 32, paragraph 62, the third sentence, and paragraph 307. The Commission is also in receipt of a letter dated 28 June, 2005 from Bell Canada responding to PIAC's submissions. Interested parties may file submissions on PIAC's request with the Commission, copying all other parties, by 12:00 p.m. on 30 June 2005 . Bell Canada may file a further answer with the Commission, copying all other parties, by 12:00 p.m. on 4 July 2005 . PIAC may file final reply comments with the Commission, copying all other parties, by 12:00 p.m. on 5 July 2005 . All filings with the Commission must be sent to both procedure@crtc.gc.ca and heather.macdonald@crtc.gc.ca . Commission staff notes that w here a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, not merely sent, by that date. Sincerely, (Original signed by Chris Seidl)
