Mr. David Palmer Dear Mr. Palmer: Re: Bell Canada Tariff Notice 6869 - Call Control On 29 April 2005 , the Commission received an application by Bell Canada under cover of Tariff Notice 6869, which proposes among other things, to introduce Call Control. Commission staff considers that Bell Canada did not provide, in the proposed tariff pages, a full description of the proposed Call Control Service. Specifically, the proposed tariff description does not (1) describe the types of call that can be blocked and/or the ability to block up to 25 user defined numbers, (2) state that the 25 user defined numbers would supercede any block imposed by the category blocks chosen, and (3) state that the customer would have the ability to override any blocked number with the use of a confidential number. Consequently, this file is closed. However, the Commission is open to examining a new application from the company that addresses the above issue. The application must be filed under cover of new tariff notice. Yours sincerely, 'Original signed by S. Bédard ' ( for)
