ATTACHMENT

Kenora Municipal Telephone Notice TN-35 Interrogatories

1)  Provide the proposed exogenous amount used to determine the rate increases for Business and Residential Primary Exchange Services per Decision 2005-3, the amount of revenue to be recovered by the proposed rate increases, the number of residential and business NAS as at 31 December 2004, and compare to the estimate of toll interconnection revenue loss in excess of 35% set out Appendix B of Decision 2005-3.

2)  Provide the price regulation models for Business and Residential Primary Exchange Services for 2005 so that each model includes the rates as of 1 January 2005, cumulative prior years' unused rate increase, 2004 inflation adjustment, rate change, allowed inflation increase, exogenous factor, 2005 proposed rate, 2005 unused rate increase, and the total cumulative unused rate increase.

3) Provide supporting rationale for the Centrex Service increase as per Decision 2001-756 where Centrex Service was assigned to the fourth price cap service basket.   In that decision, the Commission determined that such services would generally be permitted to increase up to any already approved rate for the same service.   Tariff applications should reference when and where the Commission approved the rate.   If the rate increase proposed goes beyond another already approved rate, provide an economic study supporting the rate increase.
