Mr. Terry Connolly Dear Mr. Connolly: Re: Tariff Notice No. 4231 - Integrated Services Digital Network-Basic Rate Interface (ISDN-BRI) Service On 31 March 2005 , the Commission received an application from TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI) under cover of Tariff Notice 4231, which proposes various revisions to the former TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc.'s General Tariff Item 465, Integrated Services Digital Network-Basic Rate Interface (ISDN-BRI) Service. In the filing letter, TCI identifies that only revisions to the monthly rates for various tariff components are being proposed. However, in Item 465 C.1.(d) of CRTC 1005, staff notes that the service charge applicable for Access in Bands B1 through G4 inclusive has been eliminated without any justification or rationale being provided by TCI. Consequently, this application is closed. As this application is part of the TCI's 2005 Price Cap filings, staff requests that a revised application addressing the above issue be submitted under cover of a new tariff notice for the Commission's examination, no latter than 15 April 2005.
