Dear Mr. Henry ,

Re: Decision 2002-34 Follow-Up - Access Tandem Cost Studies - Request for Extension to the Proceeding

In accordance with the procedure set out in the Commission staff's letter dated 15 February 2005 , Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel) and Bell Canada (collectively, the Companies) were asked to provide responses to interrogatories by 16 March 2005 .

By letter dated 11 March 2005 , the Companies indicated that they would be unable to provide responses to the interrogatories by 16 March 2005 . The Companies requested that the Commission extend the deadline for receipt of these interrogatory responses to 30 March 2005 .

The Companies also requested that the date for comments and reply comments be revised to 11 April 2005 and 28 April 2005 , respectively.

The request to extend the deadline for receipt of interrogatory is reasonable.   Accordingly, the deadline to provide responses to the interrogatories is extended to 30 March 2005 . Additionally, the dates for comments and reply comments are extended to 11 April 2005 and 28 April 2005 , respectively.   The material should be received, and not merely sent, by the dates indicated.

Yours sincerely,

(Original signed by Scott Hutton)
