CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus item

Consensus report submitted to the CISC Steering Committee

1.

The CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) Network Working Group (NTWG) submitted a consensus report to the CISC Steering Committee (SC).

2.

On 12 August 2005, the SC approved Global Title Translation for LNP Environment with Message Looping or Circular Routing Prevention, 21 June 2005 (NTRE033). In this report, the NTWG reached consensus on procedures to prevent looping of signaling messages due to unsynchronized updates of number portability global title translation nodes.

The consensus report was referred to the Commission for consideration. The report is available through the Commission's website.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the above-noted consensus report.
