Co-location link changes

The Commission received Co-location Link Changes (CLC) - Follow-Up to Telecom Decision CRTC 2004-83, consensus report BPRE050a (the Report), dated 24 March 2005, from the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) Business Process Working Group (BPWG), filed pursuant to a Commission directive in Call-Net Enterprises Inc. v. Bell Canada - Request for tariffs and tariff modifications with respect to work provided by Bell Canada, Telecom Decision CRTC 2004-83, 21 December 2004.

The BPWG has reached consensus on procedures for completing Co-location Link Changes that parties to the working group have developed including conditions when changes are necessary, situations when co-operative testing should be performed, the appropriate test procedures and the number of personnel required to complete a test, as well as billing guidelines.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the Report.

As a result, section 7.3 of the Unbundled Loops' Installation, Testing and Maintenance Guidelines (ITMG) is modified to reflect the procedures set out in the Report.
