CBO-DR-1, CBOQ-DR-1, CBOF-DR-1, CBOX-DR-1, Ottawa - Technical change

1. The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to change the authorized contours of the transitional digital radio programming undertakings CBO-DR-1, CBOQ-DR-1, CBOF-DR-1 and CBOX-DR-1 Ottawa, by increasing the equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) of the transmitter at Camp Fortune from 5,928 watts to 12,250 watts, by relocating the transmitter from the former CBC building on Lanark Avenue to Place Bell Canada (in downtown Ottawa) and by decreasing its EIRP from 2,850 watts to 2,820 watts.
2. The Commission notes that there will be no significant change to the authorized contours.
3. The Commission reminds the licensee that, pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met, and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
