  Ottawa, 3 June 2005
  Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Yorkton, Saskatchewan
  Application 2005-0482-0

CBKT Regina and its transmitter CBKT-6 Yorkton - Technical change

1. The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to change the authorized contours of its transmitter CBKT-6 Yorkton, by decreasing the effective radiated power from 54,600 watts to 50,200 watts and by increasing the antenna height.
2. The Commission notes that this change reflects the actual technical parameters following construction of the transmission facilities and that there will be no significant change to the coverage area.
3. The Commission reminds the licensee that, pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met, and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
