Revocation of licence

1. In CKCQ Quesnel - Conversion to FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2004-126, 19 March 2004, the Commission approved an application by Cariboo Central Interior Radio Inc. (Cariboo) for a broadcasting licence to operate an FM radio programming undertaking at Quesnel to replace its AM station CKCQ. The new FM station is now in operation.
2. Cariboo has now requested the revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CKCQ Quesnel.
3. Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Cariboo Central Interior Radio Inc. for CKCQ Quesnel.
