Regulatory framework for voice communication services using Internet Protocol - Amendment to dates for public consultation

In this public notice, the Commission extends by one day the public consultation for the above proceeding.

In Regulatory framework for voice communication services using Internet Protocol, Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2004-2, 7 April 2004 (Public Notice  2004-2), as amended by letter dated 22 April 2004, the Commission announced that it would conduct a public consultation on 21 and 22 September 2004 as part of the process established in Public Notice  2004-2.

Pursuant to the amended procedures set out in the letter of 22 April 2004, parties that wished to make an oral presentation at the public consultation were required, by 18 June 2004, to file comments and to indicate their intention to participate in the public consultation. Due to the number of parties that have filed submissions and requested to participate in the public consultation, the Commission is extending the public consultation by one day. The public consultation will be held from 21 to 23 September 2004 at the Conference Centre, Portage IV, Outaouais Room, 140 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec.

The Commission will issue a letter to all registered parties setting out the process to be followed at the public consultation, including the order of appearance. The letter will also be posted on the Commission's website.
