| As part of the tangible benefits package proposed by Quebecor Média inc., TVA was to contribute $250,000 to the Hexagram research consortium (the consortium), associated with Concordia and UQAM universities. | |
| The contribution to the consortium was to help develop common interest multimedia projects for Concordia and UQAM. The consortium was not able to develop such projects. | |
| Instead, TVA proposes to contribute $225,000 to UQAM's Chair of Communication to finance activities related to the communication department, and to contribute $25,000 to the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles to finance the workshop Atelier Grand Nord, reuniting screenwriters from four different francophone countries. | |
