MTS Communications Inc.

Reference: Tariff Notices 522 and 522A

Digital exchange access service

1.

The Commission received an application by MTS Communications Inc. (MTS), dated 19 January 2004 and amended on 5 February 2004, to revise General Tariff item 1990, Digital Exchange Access Service, in order to add a new optional service feature that will provide customers with calling line identification (name and number delivery information) on outgoing calls associated with digital exchange access (DEA) service.

2.

MTS also proposed to make changes in the tariff wording to the name of one of the DEA service components in order to maintain consistency in the wording used by MTS for the same service component in other tariffed services offered by the company.

3.

MTS filed an imputation test in support of its application.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission finds that the imputation test is satisfactory.

6.

The Commission approves MTS's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
