Network automatic call distribution per queue

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 16 January 2004, to revise General Tariff item 215.5, Centrex Call Center Service, in order to introduce Network Automatic Call Distribution per Queue (Network ACD per Queue) service in New Brunswick.

The Network ACD per Queue service allows call distribution between ACD queues located in one or more DMS switches. Network ACD per Queue is an add-on call center feature. It provides intelligence to existing queuing and provides overflow capabilities by providing a means of communicating or networking between ACD queues.

3.

Aliant Telecom filed an imputation test in support of its application.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission finds that the imputation test is satisfactory.

6.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
