Network interconnection agreement |

1. |
The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. (TELUS Québec)1, dated 29 April 2004, requesting approval of a network interconnection agreement between TELUS Québec, Télébec Limited Partnership and Aliant Telecom Inc. (collectively, the parties). |

The proposed agreement sets out the terms and conditions for the interconnection of facilities in order to establish a Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) ring between wire centres within the parties' territories in northern Québec and western Labrador. |

3. |
TELUS Québec filed its application in confidence, but provided an abridged version for the public record. |
|
4. |
The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |
|
5. |
The Commission finds that TELUS Québec has satisfied the requirements necessary to demonstrate that its application conforms to the regulatory regime to which the parties are subject. |

6. |
Accordingly, the Commission approves TELUS Québec's application. |
