Telecom Order CRTC 2004-399

  Ottawa, 1 December 2004

TELUS Communications Inc.

  Reference: Tariff Notice 151

Local Number Portability - Access to Service Control Point

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 24 August 2004, to revise Carrier Access Tariff item 208, Local Number Portability - Access to Service Control Point (LNP-SCP) service in order to reduce the rates for the one-time system administration service charge and the usage per query charge.

By letter dated 21 October 2004, TCI provided a revised cost study and imputation test, reflecting changes to cost study assumptions.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission notes that the proposed rates for the LNP-SCP service meet the imputation test.

The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this Order.
