Aliant Telecom Inc.

Voice access service - Temporary suspension of service

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 7 October 2004, to revise General Tariff item 200, Primary Access Service, in order to add an option to the service that would allow customers the ability to dial 9-1-1 or a toll free number while on temporary suspension of service.

Aliant Telecom submitted that customers would pay the 9-1-1 monthly fee for this service during the temporary suspension.

3.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this Order.
