Basic listing interchange file agreement


The Commission received an application by Shaw Telecom Inc. (Shaw), dated 7 June 2004 and amended on 23 August 2004, for approval of the unexecuted Basic Listing Interchange File (BLIF) agreement (agreement).


The proposed agreement sets out the terms and conditions governing the provision of information to alternate operator service providers for the sole purpose of providing directory assistance.


The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.


The Commission notes that Shaw's proposed BLIF agreement is consistent with the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee Consensus Report DORE020A.


The Commission approves Shaw's application.
