Telecom Order CRTC 2004-30

  Ottawa, 22 January 2004

Sogetel inc.

  Reference: Tariff Notice 118

Late payment charge

The Commission received an application by Sogetel inc. (Sogetel), dated 17 December 2003, to revise item, Billing and payment of accounts, of its General Tariff in order to remove the reference to the specific prime rate for the late payment charge and to replace it with a general reference as this rate changes frequently.

Sogetel proposed to adopt the same rules as those in Bell Canada General Tariff items 25.3(b) (1) and (2) and approved by the Commission in Order CRTC 2001-888, 19 December 2001.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves Sogetel's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.

Sogetel is to issue a revised tariff page forthwith to reflect this change.
