Interconnection agreement between local exchange carriers

1.

The Commission received an application by Shaw Telecom Inc. (Shaw), dated 26 July 2004, for approval of the Master Agreement for Local Interconnection (the agreement) between Shaw and Globility Communications Corporation (Globility).

2.

The proposed agreement sets out the terms and conditions for the provision of local interconnection facilities and termination service between Shaw's and Globility's networks.

3.

The Commission notes that Shaw filed Schedule C to the agreement in confidence stating that the release of this information would provide existing and potential competitors with sensitive information related to the Shaw and Globility operations.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves Shaw's application.
