Reference: Tariff Notice 6801 | |
Equipment for private network |
|
1. |
The Commission received an application by Bell Canada, dated 22 March 2004, to add Special Facilities Tariff item D79(a), Equipment for Private Network, in order to provide for the lease of a Passport 7480 multi-service switch and a DS-1 card in the company's Kuujjuaq, Quebec central office for use over the customer's virtual private network. |
2. |
Bell Canada submitted that the customer concurs with the proposed monthly rate and service charge. Bell Canada noted that this arrangement was not available from the General Tariff and was filed as a special facilities tariff due to limited anticipated demand. |
3. |
In support of its application, Bell Canada provided cost justification to demonstrate that the proposed rates were compensatory. |
4. |
The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |
5. |
The Commission is satisfied, based on the costing support provided by Bell Canada, that the proposed rate is set above the associated costs. |
6. |
The Commission approves Bell Canada's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order. |
