DMS translations on digital exchange access service

The Commission received an application by Bell Canada, dated 8 January 2004, to introduce Special Facilities Tariff item B101(a), in order to provide DMS translations on digital exchange access service to prevent callers from dialing directly from the public switched telephone network into a customer's conference bridges unless a valid bearer capability is present.

Bell Canada submitted that the customer concurs with the proposed monthly rate.

The Commission approves on an interim basis Bell Canada's application. The revisions take effect as of 22 January 2004.
