Videoconference promotion |

The Commission received an application by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel), dated 1 June 2004, to introduce item 1702, Videoconference promotion, to its General Tariff in order to offer a video conferencing service promotion whereby Northwestel would waive the associated set-up fee, as well as discount the room and equipment rental fee by 50% between 1 September 2004 and 31 December 2004. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |

The Commission notes that this promotion is not within the scope of promotions suspended, in Review of promotions, Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2003-1-1, 13 March 2003. |

The Commission considers the promotion in the present application is a legitimate promotion of limited duration. The Commission notes that the combined benefit and enrolment period does not exceed 12 months, and hence, is with the Commission's duration requirements. |

The Commission approves Northwestel's application. |
